Thanks to Bosch’s confusing product model naming, an unhelpful website, and confusing pricing strategy, the difference between these models is not clear.

  1. We assume that the MGM8642BIN is the older outgoing model being replaced by, the newer MGM6642WIN.
  2. The MGM8642BIN comes in Black (‘MGM8642BIN- B indicates Black), and MGM6642WIN is white.

Featurewise, both the models are exactly the same. Unless Bosch clarifies, we will never fully know the true difference.
